Job description
- Build, configure, and maintain Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and pathology systems
- Support daily system operations to ensure efficient laboratory workflows
- Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and integrated testing
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues impacting laboratory operations
- Collaborate with lab staff, IT teams, and vendors to optimize system performance
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and healthcare guidelines
- Analyze system requirements and implement solutions to improve efficiency
- Provide user support, training, and documentation for LIS applications
- Assist with data integrity, reporting, and system validation processes
- Participate in multi-departmental IT projects and system integrations
Requirements
The ideal candidate has strong experience in healthcare IT systems, laboratory workflows, and system integration, with the ability to collaborate across departments and support system testing and implementation initiatives., * Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Science, Computer Science, or related field required
- 2-4 years of experience as a Systems Analyst or Senior Analyst in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of laboratory workflows and LIS systems
- Experience with system implementation, testing, and support
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills, * Bachelor’s (Required), * Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) Analyst: 4 years (Required)
- Healthcare IT: 4 years (Required)
- Healthcare management: 4 years (Required)
- Senior Analyst: 2 years (Required)
