Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) Analyst to support healthcare operations in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is ideal for a professional with strong technical expertise and a background in healthcare systems, particularly laboratory applications. The LIS Analyst will play a critical role in maintaining, optimizing, and supporting laboratory information systems to ensure accurate data flow and efficient clinical workflows., * Support and maintain Laboratory Information Systems, ensuring optimal performance and system reliability.
- Configure, test, and implement system upgrades, enhancements, and new functionalities.
- Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff, IT teams, and clinical stakeholders to optimize workflows and system utilization.
- Ensure accurate integration and data exchange between LIS and other healthcare systems.
- Provide end-user support, training, and guidance on system functionality and best practices.
- Maintain system documentation, policies, and procedures in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in system validation, testing, and quality assurance activities.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Laboratory information systems (LIS)?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Science, Computer Science, or a related field (required).
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Systems Analyst or Senior Analyst in a healthcare environment.
- Hands-on experience with Cerner Millennium computer system required.
- Experience with PathNet application (Laboratory Information System) strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams., * Do you have Experience with PathNet application (Laboratory Information System?
- Do you have Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Science, Computer Science, or a related field?
- Are you currently working as a Hospital Analyst?
If not, when did you complete your last assignment as a Hospital Analyst Information?

- Bachelor’s (Required)
Experience:
- recent Hospital Analyst or Senior Analyst in Hospital: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- experience with Cerner Millennium computer system (Required)
