Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
6+ years of enterprise data architecture and data modeling experience.
3+ years of experience designing enterprise data solutions within a Higher Education environment.
Strong understanding of Higher Education business processes, including Student Lifecycle, Admissions, Registration, Financial Aid, HR, Finance, Research Administration, and Advancement.
Experience designing enterprise data warehouses and lakehouse architectures.
Strong expertise in relational and dimensional data modeling techniques.
Experience implementing Medallion Architecture across Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers.
Advanced SQL skills and strong knowledge of ETL/ELT design principles.
Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure Synapse, AWS, Amazon Redshift, or Google BigQuery.
Hands-on experience with enterprise data modeling tools such as Erwin, Enterprise Architect, SqlDBM, or similar.
Experience documenting complex systems, metadata, and enterprise data architecture.
