Job description

Under supervision of the manager serves as a technician with experience in a professional services environment supporting end-users to the support and Maintenace of RTLS and Temperature Management., * Provide extraordinary customer service for Clinical Engineering department customers applying advanced problem-solving skills

  • Effectively read and analyze various reports and communicate interpretation and analysis with co-workers and /or leadership
  • Maintain proper inventory of batteries and other equipment necessary for device maintenance to include infrastructure asset tags environmental monitoring (EM) sensors devices temperature sensors etc. regularly performing battery replacement for any necessary equipment and devices
  • Perform small installations of infrastructure devices maintaining and validating information in system software
  • Pick up and deliver equipment to floors within department and hospital.
  • Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints identifying solutions and suggesting improved methods/techniques.
  • Coordinates with remote support personnel to troubleshoot problematic areas
  • Document daily activities findings and recommendations.
  • Monitor equipment status and alerts via the system applications.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business applications
  • Comfortable navigating all areas of the hospital system including patient rooms
  • Comfortable occasionally working around or with potential biological hazards; proper personal protective equipment will be worn in accordance with medical center policy and procedures
  • Ability to understand the designs with regards to device location within the hospital
  • Be a department steward by answering phone door communicating with internal and external customers Minimal Qualifications

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required or
  • Vocational/Technical Diploma in Electronics preferred, * 1-2 years Experience in data entry required
  • 1-2 years Experience in healthcare setting preferred
  • One year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge using desktop computers MS office
  • Required to climb and stand on ladders sometimes for extended periods of time
  • Required to work with tools while reaching above your head for extended periods of time
