Software Engineer, Infrastructure

• Build and maintain infrastructure for Data Engineering workflows using Airflow, Flink, and chalk.ai
• Own and operate DynamoDB and RDS storage solutions for data engineering
• Write infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and manage Kubernetes workloads
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to create scalable infrastructure solutions
• Enhance reliability through observability and capacity planning
• Participate in the full infrastructure change lifecycle from design to implementation
• Contribute to the Data Infra team’s practices as the organization scales

• 2-4 years of software engineering experience focused on infrastructure or backend systems
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Kubernetes in production environments
• Familiarity with AWS managed database services like DynamoDB and RDS
• Strong programming abilities in Python or similar languages
• Systems-thinking mindset for reliability and scalability
• Ability to work independently on ambiguous problems and communicate effectively across teams
• Experience with data ingestion and ETL pipelines is a strong plus
