Job description
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong AWS expertise to design, automate, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and application delivery pipelines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS services, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, containerization, monitoring, and cloud security. Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage secure and scalable infrastructure on AWS.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, or Amazon ECS.
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance, availability, and reliability.
- Implement logging, alerting, backup, and disaster-recovery solutions.
- Manage AWS networking, IAM roles, security groups, and access controls.
- Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, performance, and production issues.
- Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams.
- Follow DevOps, cloud security, and infrastructure-management best practices.
Requirements
- Strong professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, ECS, and EKS.
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Proficiency with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong scripting skills using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of Linux administration, networking, cloud security, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Git-based source-code management and branching strategies.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills., * AWS certification such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or SysOps Administrator.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Familiarity with configuration-management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, vulnerability management, and compliance requirements.
