Job description

In this role you will configure, rebuild, migrate, and validate the target Maximo Application Suite environment. Depending on where your strengths sit.

You will:

  • Build the extract, transform, and load pipeline on the Maximo Integration Framework using object structures and enterprise services, and execute the production data migration within the cutover freeze window.

  • Define the target data model and database configuration, including objects, attributes, and domains.

  • Configure MAS modules across asset management, property accountability, inventory, cost, work management, and depot maintenance.

  • Rebuild business rules as automation scripts, and rebuild workflows and escalations in supported methods.

  • Rebuild user interface screens using Application Designer as role-based applications, preserving input modality and user experience.

  • Recreate reports and validate them against the legacy environment.

  • Build and run a reconciliation harness comparing source and target record counts and attributes across assets, serialized assets, inventory quantities, property custody chains, cost values, and security records.

  • Perform post-migration validation across master and reference data, assets, inventory, work management, attachments, and historical records.

  • Configure MAS security groups and role-based access, and the Common Access Card authentication path.

  • Execute mock migrations, dress rehearsals, and timed full-volume runs of the cutover procedure.

  • Perform unit, system integration, migration, reconciliation, security, and performance testing.

  • Support user acceptance testing and deliver defect fixes on a controlled release cadence through the ninety-day hypercare period.

Requirements

  • Must have 4, or more, years of directly related hands-on experience with IBM Maximo configuration or development.

  • Must be proficient with Maximo configuration and development methods including Application Designer, automation scripts, and database configuration.

  • Must have experience with the Maximo Integration Framework, including object structures and enterprise services.

  • Must have experience with at least two Maximo functional areas from asset management, inventory, work management, purchasing, or preventive maintenance.

  • Must have experience with SQL and relational database concepts.

  • Must have experience with data migration, data validation, or reconciliation on an enterprise system.

  • Must have a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (for example Security+).

  • Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen residing in the continental United States.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Maximo Application Suite 9.x.

  • Experience with a Maximo upgrade or migration project.

  • Experience with BIRT reporting.

  • Experience with Maximo Migration Manager and promotion across environments.

  • Experience on Department of Defense or federal programs.

  • IBM Maximo certification.
