Job description
Akkodis is seeking a Technical Program & Project Manager for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI (Hybrid). The ideal candidate must have strong project management experience, with responsibility for driving test planning, software and hardware configuration management, risk mitigation, stakeholder communication, and successful delivery of software quality programs., * Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of automotive software quality and testing programs, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
- Develop and manage test strategies, test cycles, product backlogs, and project roadmaps while supporting Agile and SAFe program activities.
- Coordinate software and hardware configuration management, including software releases, vehicle builds, prototype components, and test environment readiness.
- Monitor project progress, risks, defects, and quality metrics, implementing recovery plans and driving issue resolution when projects deviate from targets.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among engineering, testing, product, and program management teams, serving as the primary point of contact for project communications and status reporting.
- Create executive-level reports and presentations, provide program health updates, and manage defect lifecycles to ensure timely resolution and successful product delivery., The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related technical field.
- 6+ years of experience in Automotive Software Development/Quality Assurance, including 3+ years of Program or Project Management experience.
- Proven experience managing automotive software testing programs, Agile/SAFe projects, test planning, defect management, and software quality initiatives.
- Strong expertise in technical program management, stakeholder communication, risk management, software/hardware configuration management, and executive-level reporting.
Benefits & conditions
Rate Range: $50/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors., Pay Details: $50.00 to $60.00 per hour
