Job description

Our client, an industry leader within the Defence Market, is seeking a Digital Project Manager to join their team on a contract for 6 months, with the chance for extension., Our client are looking for a Project Manager who can hit the ground running with a series of pre-planned work packages that will ultimately lead our client towards transformational projects involving the secure movement of data. The Project Manager would work with a team of Solution Architects, Analysts and Integration Engineers for an initial term of 8-9 months, with a view to extend

Requirements

  • Project Management experience - Desirable to be gained in a defence organisation
  • Strong risk management skills and experience
  • Strong knowledge of Project Management fundamentals
  • Ability to deal with a degree of ambiguity, using project findings to refine subsequent projects in the roadmap
  • Natural ability in negotiating and influencing skills, with the ability to establish and maintain relationships and work collaboratively across various levels and with internal and external collaborators
  • Drive and motivation in leading project teams to consistently striving for excellence
  • Any recent experience of working in the defence industry would be beneficial
  • Any recent experience of projects involving data movement and/or information security
