Job description

We’re looking for a hands-on IT Manager to join a successful and growing business, taking responsibility for the day-to-day IT function and ensuring systems run efficiently across the organisation.

Working closely with the Director, internal departments and external IT partners, you’ll play a key role in maintaining, improving and developing the company’s IT systems, helping technology support the wider business and its continued growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own and manage the day-to-day IT function across the business
  • Support the ERP system, Microsoft 365 and other key business applications
  • Maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, networking and IT infrastructure
  • Provide hands-on support for users, hardware, software and technical issues
  • Work with external IT providers on upgrades, cybersecurity and business continuity
  • Drive continuous improvements to systems, processes and the overall IT environment

Requirements

You’ll enjoy variety, be comfortable working independently and take pride in solving technical problems. Ideally, you’ll have experience with:

  • ERP systems (Orderwise or similar would be advantageous)
  • Microsoft 365, Windows Server and Active Directory
  • Network infrastructure, security and troubleshooting
  • Providing hands-on IT support in a business environment
  • Working with third-party IT providers
  • Identifying and implementing system improvements
