Job description

This is a technical role at the intersection of product and customer deployments for a fast-growing, Seed-stage European AI voice assistant SaaS startup. You’ll own the full lifecycle of customer deployments - from requirements capture through integrations, glue code, and monitoring - ensuring AI-powered phone assistant setups run reliably in production. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to deliver fast, repeatable outcomes, and maintain a direct feedback loop that shapes the product roadmap., * Act as the technical bridge between product and customer setups, translating business requirements into robust implementations.

  • Lead end-to-end production rollouts including AI workflows, logic, data flows, prompts, and guardrails.
  • Implement integrations with third-party systems via APIs and webhooks, covering CRM, calendar, ticketing, and payment platforms.
  • Develop small-to-medium features and glue code to map customer use cases to production systems, complete with tests, monitoring, and logging.
  • Debug live issues across calls, flows, and data pipelines - and ship rapid fixes under production conditions.
  • Build reusable templates, deployment playbooks, and best practices to make customer setups scalable and repeatable.
  • Surface pain points, feature gaps, and recurring patterns back to the product team with concrete recommendations.
  • Own deployment success and ensure customer environments function reliably across AI logic, integrations, and cloud/infra layers.

Requirements

Must-have:

  • 3+ years of experience in deployment engineering delivering production AI integrations and automation workflows.
  • Proven hands-on experience with LLM-based applications: prompting, tool use, RAG/knowledge systems, evaluation, and failure mode handling.
  • Solid coding skills for implementing glue code and features, with experience writing tests and setting up monitoring and logging.
  • Experience designing and rolling out complex, testable AI-driven workflows from business requirements.
  • Hands-on integration experience with APIs, webhooks, and common auth patterns (OAuth, API keys), including CRM, calendar, ticketing, and payment systems.
  • Cloud fundamentals: deployments, observability, and production debugging.
  • Pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset - you ship fast and iterate.

Nice to have:

  • TypeScript or Python coding experience.
  • Experience with n8n or similar workflow automation tooling.
  • Voice/telephony integration experience.
  • SQL proficiency and monitoring/tracing tooling familiarity.
  • GDPR / Privacy-by-Design awareness.

Benefits & conditions

  • Salary: $60,000 - $90,000 USD annually.
  • Fully remote position within a high-velocity, collaborative startup environment.
  • Visa sponsorship: Not available.

About the company

Fully remote. The company is headquartered in Vienna, Austria, and primarily serves the European market, though candidates from other time zones compatible with European working hours are welcome to apply.
