Job description

  • Learn and develop expertise in the operation, architecture, and design of the Yotta Block system and related products
  • Execute manual bench testing using battery cyclers, power supplies, DC electronic loads, inverters, and data acquisition systems
  • Develop and execute automated test procedures using Python, LabVIEW, or similar scripting/programming tools
  • Analyze test data, troubleshoot failures, and document findings clearly and accurately
  • Support root-cause investigations and debugging of electrical and system-level issues
  • Propose and implement new test methods to improve validation coverage and efficiency
  • Build, maintain, and improve test fixtures, harnesses, and laboratory equipment
  • Perform environmental and thermal testing using temperature chambers and related equipment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to validate product performance and reliability
  • Maintain accurate test records, reports, and documentation
  • Participate in laboratory organization, safety practices, 5S activities, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support additional engineering and operational activities as needed

Requirements

Do you have experience in Troubleshooting electrical systems?, * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field

  • 3+ years of experience in electrical, electronics, battery, or power systems testing
  • Hands-on experience with common electrical test equipment and instrumentation
  • Experience documenting test procedures, results, and technical reports
  • Experience with Python, LabVIEW, or other automation/programming tools
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, * Experience with battery systems, renewable energy systems, or power electronics
  • Familiarity with environmental or thermal testing
  • Experience developing automated test frameworks
  • Startup or product development experience

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, move, push, and pull 30-50 pounds frequently; occasionally over 50 pounds with assistance
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to kneel, squat, climb, and work at varying heights occasionally
  • Ability to work outdoors and in varied weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures
