Job description

As part of Xpedite’s exciting growth plans, we are seeking a Graduate Digital Solutions Engineer to join our Intelligence Delivery Team in Bath. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated graduate to develop their skills while supporting a range of data-driven and engineering projects. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will help develop reports, improve processes, support innovative technology solutions, and contribute to projects across Defence and commercial sectors.

This role offers excellent learning and development opportunities within a collaborative and growing team.

As a Graduate Digital Solutions Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting a wide range of projects from a data perspective (including ETL, Validation and Cleansing).
  • Developing solutions to increase efficiency of internal processes.
  • Supporting the IDT in the development of future products and applications.
  • Maintaining current products and applications.
  • Developing Reports using PowerBI, Palantir Foundry and Excel.
  • Project Management activities.
  • Managing personnel within specific project
  • Willingness to complete the Xpedite Graduate Development Plan
  • Eager to contribute to Xpedite’s digital and technological advancements.

Requirements

Essential

  • Qualification or degree in relevant discipline, preferably STEM subjects

Desirable

  • Knowledge of .NET, stack such as C#, WPF, Blazor, MAUI, and ASP.NET.
  • Knowledge of Agile principles.
  • Experience developing with OOP languages.
  • Experience in data manipulation (using SQL, python, PowerQuery).
  • Knowledge of cloud systems, such as Azure, ORACLE, and AWS.

It should be noted that to be considered for this role, you must be a UK national and eligible to hold UK Security Clearance at SC level.
