Job description

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on individual to join our Operations team. This role combines technical support with warehouse operations, making it ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical issues while also taking responsibility for stock management and logistics.

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Support

  • Answer customer technical support calls and emails.
  • Manage and resolve support tickets through our helpdesk.
  • Provide first-line remote support for digital signage displays, CMS software and AV equipment.
  • Diagnose hardware, software and network-related issues.
  • Escalate complex technical issues where required.
  • Assist customers with installations, configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain accurate support records within our CRM system.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure issues are fully resolved.

Warehouse Operations

  • Receive supplier deliveries and check goods against purchase orders.
  • Process customer returns (RMA) and inspect returned products.
  • Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
  • Organise warehouse stock and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Book courier collections and shipments.
  • Carry out stock counts and inventory checks.
  • Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organised and safe.
  • Assist with loading and unloading deliveries.

General Operations

  • Work closely with Sales, Customer Service and Operations teams.
  • Prepare replacement units and warranty returns.
  • Test equipment before dispatch where required.
  • Help improve internal technical documentation and support processes.
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards at all times.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an IT, AV or Technical Support role.
  • Good understanding of Windows, networking and general computer hardware.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with customers.
  • Comfortable lifting and moving equipment safely.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential.

You are equally comfortable speaking to customers on the phone as you are working in a warehouse environment. You take ownership of issues, work efficiently under pressure and enjoy being part of a growing business where every day is different.
