Job description
We are seeking a dedicated On Site Level 2 IT Asset Management Technician to support the full lifecycle of enterprise IT equipment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with hardware, managing inventory, deploying devices, and ensuring employees have the technology they need to be successful from day one.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets, including receiving, inventory, deployment, refresh, recovery, warranty repair, and retirement activities
- Image, configure, and deploy Windows devices using tools such as SCCM, PXE Boot, and Autopilot
- Prepare equipment for new hires, device replacements, and technology refresh initiatives
- Track and maintain accurate asset records within asset management and ticketing systems
- Process returned equipment, perform hardware inspections, and prepare devices for redeployment or retirement
- Support onboarding efforts by ensuring devices are configured, functional, and ready for use
- Partner with Service Desk, Desktop Engineering, and other IT teams to support asset management initiatives
- Conduct inventory audits and contribute to process improvement efforts
Requirements
- 3+ years of IT Asset Management experience
- Experience with imaging and deployment technologies, including SCCM, PXE Boot, and/or Autopilot
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Experience with Active Directory and Azure device account management
- Strong technical aptitude and PC hardware knowledge
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and follow established processes with attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Interest in learning Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps
- Previous experience with process improvement or automation initiatives
