Leidos is looking for a talented entry level Software Engineer for work in support of our Security Enterprise Solutions.
Requirements
n, * Communicates with internal team members across multiple areas and client team members. \n
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer or Software Engineering or with less than 2 years of relevant experience. \n
- Working knowledge of Python and bash scripting, HTML, PostgreSQL, C++ and OOP/OOAD \n
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design solutions. \n
- Understanding of memory management, multicore processors, and distributed systems design. \n, * Experience with BuildBot and automated build pipelines with MS Azure. \n
- Experience with DICOS. \n
- Experience with npm. \n
- Experience with http/https communication. \n
- Interfacing with hardware and real-time debugging. \n
- Working knowledge of networking solutions. \n
- Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies. \n

Your primary responsibility will be to develop, modify and troubleshoot multi-tiered distributed applications and systems. - Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code using good OOP/OOAD techniques for our systems. \n

Optimize, identify bottlenecks, bugs, and devise solutions to problems including: \n \n
- Maintain code quality, revision control and organization \n
- Analyze customer issues and identify and implement solutions. \n

Participate and contribute within a defined software development process. \n \n
- Occasional travel to customer sites may be required. Travel may be domestic and international. \n
\n \nBasic Qualifications: \n \n \n
- Software Engineering candidate shall participate in the design, development, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of software programs for enhancements and new software-intensive systems and products. \n
- Applies appropriate principles, standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the software development life cycle. \n
- Duties include software requirements analysis, analysis of hardware compatibility, development of software products and tools used for design, development and maintenance of infrastructure, and platforms. \n

- Develops solutions to complex technical issues and problems that impact multiple area or disciplines. \n
