Job description

We are seeking a technically minded Service Engineer / Technical Coordinator to support the rollout of the companies remote machine service technologies across multiple product groups. This position combines hands-on machine knowledge with project coordination, communication, and administrative responsibilities.

The ideal candidate has a background as a service technician, heavy equipment mechanic, or service engineer and enjoys coordinating projects, working with cross-functional teams, and presenting progress updates to leadership. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to transition from a primarily hands-on technical role into a broader coordination position while still maintaining involvement with machine testing and validation., Coordinate Remote Service Test Implementation

  • Coordinate the machine service tests from traditional onsite execution to remote execution.
  • Work with Product Groups, Engineering, Validation teams, to schedule and validate remote service testing.
  • Participate in onsite machine testing when required.
  • Assist with validating service tests and ensuring remote functionality performs as expected.

Communication & Reporting

  • Prepare presentation materials and status updates using Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Present project updates to senior leadership.
  • Communicate effectively with engineering teams, product groups, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Experience as a:
  • Heavy equipment service technician
  • Diesel technician
  • Heavy equipment mechanic
  • Service engineer
  • Technical field service professional
  • OR another mechanically focused technical role
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Comfortable working with computers and technical software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience creating presentations or communicating technical information.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to occasionally perform hands-on machine testing.
