Embedded Software Test Engineer

As an Embedded Software Test Engineer, you will play a key role in the verification process for critical touchscreen & display product lines. You’ll be assigned focused scope areas, such as writing test cases and procedures, and will work closely with subject matter experts, test environment specialists, and reviewers-both onsite and virtually.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Write test cases and test procedures for both Display Head and Touch Screen software
• Execute and debug tests on hardware in lab environments
• Collaborate with requirements, test environment, and review teams to develop, execute, and review test artifacts, attending daily team meetings to review project status and priorities
• Participate in review cycles to ensure test artifacts are approved in a timely manner
• Work closely with both onsite and remote, global engineering teams to advance verification processes and deliver results

• 5+ years in Software Engineering, with strong embedded C++ experience
• Software integration and verification experience, including unit testing for embedded systems

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Experience in DO-178C DAL A or B requirements development
• Prior experience with display software and touch-screen solutions
