Job description

JRH is seeking a Senior SharePoint Developer to develop applications in .NET, agile, environment and become an integral part of our team! This is a remote position, however there may be a requirement occasionally to travel to the customer site. The Sr. SharePoint Developer must have the ability to obtain clearance with a Federal Government client, therefore US citizenship or Green Card is needed. The Senior SharePoint Developer will perform the following duties, * Design, develop, administer, and maintain SharePoint 2013, SharePoint 2016, and SharePoint Online environments.

  • Manage SharePoint site collections, permissions, security groups, lists, libraries, content types, and site features.
  • Develop modern SharePoint Online solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), React, TypeScript, Microsoft Graph API, PnP JS, and Fluent UI.
  • Develop and maintain C# and .NET Core/.NET applications and RESTful APIs.
  • Design, develop, and support Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate solutions integrated with SharePoint.
  • Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Azure cloud applications and services.
  • Configure and manage Azure resources including App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Key Vault, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Azure Container Registry (ACR), Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Application Insights.
  • Integrate SharePoint and Microsoft 365 solutions with Microsoft Graph API and other enterprise systems.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and production support.
  • Perform unit testing, code reviews, debugging, and application performance tuning.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, project managers, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership, guidance, and best practices.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational procedures.
  • Support application deployments across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure solutions follow security, governance, and coding standards for Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
  • Stay current with emerging Microsoft technologies and recommend improvements to existing applications and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Information Systems or 7+ years of relevant experience
  • 5+ years’ experience Microsoft cloud-based technologies including Azure, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Graph
  • 5+ years’ experience developing PowerApps specifically within SharePoint using the tech stack C# .Net, SQL, or JavaScript
  • Experienced in all aspects of Azure resources and services configuration such as Azure Key Vault, Azure Container Registry, Kubernetes Cluster, App Insights etc.
  • Has created dev-ops pipelines for continuous integration and deployment using Azure DevOps
  • Good Knowledge in ETL Tools, Agile Implementation, Sprint Planning

  • Microsoft 365 Certified certifications
  • Power Platform certifications
  • SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Experience with Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions
  • Experience with PowerShell automation and PnP PowerShell
  • Experience with Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • Experience working within Federal Government environments
  • Familiarity with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, or other federal security standards
