Job description

Kforce client is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager: Marketing Programs in San Francisco, CA., The Senior Technical Program Manager will be a key member of the Marketing organization, responsible for overseeing a portfolio of strategic marketing initiatives and programs. This individual will drive the successful execution of product launches, go-to-market campaigns, marketing transformations, and cross-functional business initiatives.

You will serve as the connective tissue between marketing, product, sales, and technology teams-defining clear project scope, timelines, and success metrics while removing obstacles that impede progress. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders to translate business objectives into executable programs, create visibility into program status and risks, and ensure initiatives are delivered on-time, on-budget, and to quality standards.

Duties Include:

  • Own and manage a portfolio of marketing programs from conception through execution, ensuring alignment with business priorities and organizational capacity
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives through all phases: strategy development, planning, resource allocation, delivery, and launch across marketing, product, sales, and technology teams
  • Define project scope, success criteria, and key performance indicators in collaboration with stakeholders; Establish clear requirements and manage scope creep through the program lifecycle
  • Develop detailed project schedules, resource plans, and dependency maps; Monitor critical path items, identify and escalate risks, and adjust plans proactively to keep initiatives on track
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on marketing processes, tools, and best practices; Coach team members on program management disciplines and drive continuous improvement in how programs are executed

Requirements

  • 7+ years of program experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives at scale; Experience managing marketing programs, go-to-market initiatives, or marketing transformations is highly preferred
  • Strong experience with marketing processes, methodologies, and tools; Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, project management software (Asana, Monday, etc.), and marketing analytics is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile (SAFe) methodologies; Ability to apply these frameworks flexibly in a marketing context
