Principal Technical Program Manager

Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Principal Technical Program Manager in support of our enterprise networking and cloud solutions client based in San Jose, CA., The Principal Technical Program Manager is charged with leading large scale, global, technically complex initiatives end to end. Working cross functionally with a broad set of technical and business partners, you will use your solid technical aptitude, appreciation for simplicity and quality, critical thinking, and a bit of elbow grease, to drive programs that meet business and technology objectives while furthering Splunk’s long range goals.

Key Tasks:

• Lead and plan end-to-end technical programs or initiatives, with a clear and constant understanding of priorities to ensure expected outcomes are delivered
• Architect programs that are large and complex into manageable workstreams and deliverables
• Serve as the core spokesperson for the program, communicate program progress and risks across all stakeholders
• Identify and mitigate risks to ensure programs maintain forward momentum toward clear outcomes
• Understand system interdependencies and lead cross-functional teams to align and deliver technical solutions
• Ensure clear accountability, timelines, and high-quality results
• Provide expertise on process improvements and tools that lead to shared standard methodologies across teams

• Minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; Or 8 years and a Master’s degree; Or equivalent experience
• Deep experience in Enterprise Software Development and Delivery in the Cloud space, with LLM experience as a plus
• Comprehensive experience facilitating, building, or overhauling existing processes for a more optimal outcome
• Broad hands-on experience and knowledge of Agile
• Extensive familiarity working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical team members
• Demonstrable ability to provide strategic input and guidance to stakeholders and leaders around anticipated changes in direction and cascades priorities and objectives to teams
• Validated history influencing and affecting change at all levels of the organization without having positional authority

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
