Experienced Semiconductor Technician

We have an immediate opening for a Technician to work on and work with individual semiconductor components in our Life Testing area. Technician will use various electronic testing/measurement equipment to set up test chambers, load test boards into chambers, take measurements while the test is in process, take actions when jobs are disrupted for various reasons, and download the test boards at the completion of the test. Ideal candidates will have experience in hands-on work at the component level with a variety of different semiconductor components.

Candidates should already have:

• AS in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology or closely related field.
• Sound understanding of engineering theories and laws, and the ability to apply them.
• The ability to read, analyze and interpret Mil-Stds, technical schematics, test standards/procedures, work instructions and customer specifications.
• Hands-on experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies and various hand tools.

Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements

• An Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology, technical certification or related combination of experience and education.
• Experience in Aerospace AS9100, Defense DLA component testing environment is desired.
