Job description

We are seeking an experienced Middleware Engineer to support and maintain enterprise middleware platforms in a large-scale production environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in IBM MQ, Kafka, OpenShift, WebSphere, Tomcat, and API technologies, along with experience supporting cloud-based integrations., * Administer, deploy, configure, monitor, and optimize enterprise middleware platforms.

Provide production support and resolve complex middleware issues.
Support IBM MQ, Kafka, OpenShift, WebSphere, Tomcat, API Connect, and DataPower environments.
Work closely with application development teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
Perform middleware installations, upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities.
Monitor system performance and recommend capacity improvements.
Create and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
Participate in cloud integration initiatives and infrastructure automation.
Support internal projects and ensure high availability of middleware services.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in Middleware Administration/Engineering.
Hands-on experience with:
IBM MQ
Kafka
OpenShift
IBM WebSphere
Apache Tomcat
IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE/IIB)
IBM DataPower & API Connect (APIC)
Experience with Java, Python, Node.js, or SQL.
Experience supporting both On-Prem and Cloud environments (Azure preferred).
Knowledge of Distributed Systems, Networking, Storage, and Databases.
Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.
Familiarity with DevOps principles, automation, and infrastructure configuration.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills., * Bachelor//’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience with Azure cloud services.
Experience with DevOps tools and automation frameworks.
Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
