Telecom System Admin (Full-time) - Healthcare IT (Boulder, CO)

Summary: Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is currently recruiting for a Telecom System Admin to join our IT team! This position will work full-time 40 hours per week Monday through Friday, this is an IN-PERSON role., * Responds to to Tier 1 and Tier 2 level Helpdesk requests with telecommunications issues.

• Manages telephony issues and security related incidents surrounding PBX, specifically 3CX.
• Maintain hardware inventory for all BMC phones, headsets, and PBX equipment. Participates as a team-member for the configuration and installation of telecommunications hardware/software.
• Performs technical review and analysis recommending technology solutions and direction as needed.
• Assists with all automated faxing architecture and routing as well as support for printing and fax issues.
• Performs on-call rotations based on needs of the medical center.
• Works closely with other IT member on various projects throughout the environment.

• Knowledge and understanding of Linux operating systems is a plus.
• A working knowledge of networking basics, virtualization, and SAN technologies is a plus.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to demonstrate patience and flexibility when responding to end-user needs and requests.

Education:

• Bachelor degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent combination of experience and/or education.

Experience:

• Must have 3+ years’ experience analyzing, planning and supporting systems in a multi-site, networked environment, preferred.
• IT experience in a healthcare setting, highly desired.
