Requirements

  • 15+ years of hands-on experience with Java development.
  • 10+ years of experience working with SQL databases.
  • 8+ years of experience in application development and production support for large-scale enterprise applications within a collaborative team environment.
  • 5+ years of experience working in Linux environments.

Preferred Experience

  • 8+ years of experience with the Atlassian tool suite, particularly JIRA.
  • 8+ years of experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting State of Texas applications, preferably within the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) environment.
  • 2+ years of experience modernizing legacy mainframe applications by transitioning them to Java/SQL-based solutions.
