Cybersecurity Analyst - Cloudflare

We are hiring a remote Cybersecurity Analyst covering North America hours. This role supplements our Africa and Dubai teams so can provide stronger follow-the-sun coverage, faster customer response, and better 24/7 operational support. What you will do

• Monitor, triage, and investigate security alerts during North America hours.
• Support customer security operations, escalations, and incident workflows.
• Use

and related tools to document investigations, reduce noise, and improve handoffs. * Coordinate with Africa, Dubai, and Asia coverage teams to maintain continuity.

• Write clear internal and customer-facing notes, summaries, and recommendations.
• Improve playbooks, escalation paths, and shift handoff quality.

• Experience in SOC, cybersecurity operations, incident response, IT security, or technical support.
• Availability to work North America business hours or agreed shift coverage.
• Strong written communication and disciplined handoff habits.
• Understanding of alerts, logs, endpoint/network/cloud security signals, and investigation workflows.
• Comfort working remotely with a distributed international team.

Nice to have

• Experience with SIEM, EDR, Cloudflare, cloud platforms, ticketing systems, or case management workflows.
• Experience in an MSP, MSSP, SOC, or customer support environment.
• Relevant security certifications or equivalent practical experience.
