Senior DevOps Engineer - AI Automation

Flextrack is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer - AI Automation to help accelerate our software development and implementation lifecycle through automation, AI, and modern DevOps practices.

This is a highly hands-on role focused on execution and outcomes. You’ll partner closely with Engineering, QA, Product, Business Analysis, and Implementation teams to identify bottlenecks, reduce manual effort, improve reliability, and increase delivery speed across our platform.

We’re looking for someone who can think strategically, build practically, and help define the roadmap for how automation and AI can be embedded throughout our development and implementation processes.

We are working toward a future where discovery call transcripts automatically generate validated requirements, Salesforce environments can be configured through automation, testing is executed by intelligent agents, and human intervention is required only when necessary.

Day to Day You Will:

• Assess and optimize software development, testing, implementation, and deployment workflows
• Design, build, and maintain automation solutions that improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI and intelligent agents throughout the software development lifecycle
• Build and integrate AI-powered workflows into testing, deployment, monitoring, and operational processes
• Automate repetitive engineering and implementation activities to reduce manual effort and accelerate delivery
• Improve CI/CD processes and help increase release velocity while maintaining quality and reliability
• Partner with Development, QA, Product, BA, and Implementation teams to identify high-impact automation opportunities
• Define and execute a roadmap for DevOps, automation, and AI-enabled process improvements
• Establish appropriate governance and human-in-the-loop controls for automated processes
• Monitor the performance, effectiveness, and adoption of automation solutions in production
• Act as a trusted technical advisor and influence stakeholders across multiple teams without direct authority

• Extensive experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Cloud Engineering, or a related discipline
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Experience implementing automation at scale to improve engineering productivity and operational efficiency
• Strong experience working within Microsoft Azure environments
• Experience integrating systems through APIs, workflows, automation frameworks, and enterprise platforms
• Experience leveraging AI, intelligent agents, or automation technologies to solve business or engineering challenges
• Ability to assess complex workflows and identify opportunities for optimization and automation
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to thrive in highly ambiguous environments and take ownership from concept to execution

Nice to Have:

• Salesforce platform experience
• Experience building or deploying AI agents and autonomous workflows
• Experience with AI-assisted testing, quality assurance, or SDLC automation
• Experience with workflow orchestration platforms and automation frameworks
• Experience working within SaaS organizations
• Experience leading technology transformation initiatives through influence rather than direct people leadership
