Job description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Network Cabling Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network cabling systems Your expertise will ensure seamless communication infrastructure, supporting vital telecommunications and data transfer operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, including fiber optic systems, Ethernet networks, and telecommunication equipment, while providing exceptional service to clients. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting and possess a passion for technical excellence, this is the perfect role for you!, * Install, terminate, and test structured cabling systems mainly Cat5e, fiber optic cables (a plus, but not required) and low-voltage electrical wiring to support telecommunications and data networks
- Conduct fiber splicing and fiber optic systems installation to ensure high-quality connectivity and performance( a plus, but not required)
- Troubleshoot network wiring issues using diagnostic tools such as cable testers.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and network layouts to accurately execute installation tasks
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on telecommunications systems, including equipment troubleshooting with specialized testing equipment
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to complete cabling projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards
- Support customer service efforts by providing clear communication during installations or repairs and ensuring client satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience in field service roles involving network cabling installation or telecommunications system setup( a plus but not required, willing to train)
- Hands-on experience with fiber splicing, fiber optic systems installation, and telecommunication testing equipment (a plus, but not required).
- Knowledge of low-voltage electrical wiring standards
- Ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and network layouts accurately
- Experience working with structured cabling standards (Cat5e/Cat6)
- Skilled in using diagnostic tools for troubleshooting network issues effectively
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members
