Job description

Insight global is seeking a PC Refresh Technician for a project supporting the State agencies of Virginia. This Refresh Technician will be responsible for traveling to all executive branch agency locations across Williamsburg and the surrounding region. Day to day responsibilities include transferring data from one machine to another, reinstalling applications, troubleshooting, and following procedures. There is no imaging. We are seeking entry-level candidates who are flexible with work hours/locations and have a reliable source of transportation. This resource will start with a 2-4 week training (shadowing current technicians onsite) before beginning to work independently.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid Virginia Driver’s License
  • Customer service oriented
  • Excellent verbal communication skills; ability to work with minimal direction
  • Experience supporting desktop/laptop systems; deploying and disposal of devices.
  • Familiarity with installing, troubleshooting, and supporting the following:
  • Windows 10 & 11 operating systems!!!
  • HP, Dell, Microsoft, Apple laptop/desktop hardware systems
