Oracle Fusion Financials Functional Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Financials Functional Consultant to support Oracle Cloud Financials implementation, configuration, testing, and production support activities. The ideal candidate should have strong functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financials modules and experience working with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions., * Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from finance and business stakeholders.

• Conduct requirement-gathering sessions, workshops, and Fit-Gap analysis.
• Configure and implement Oracle Fusion Financials modules based on business requirements.
• Work on one or more of the following modules:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Fixed Assets (FA)
• Cash Management (CM)
• Expenses
• Tax
• Subledger Accounting (SLA)
• Strong understanding of financial business processes such as:
• Record to Report (R2R)
• Procure to Pay (P2P)
• Order to Cash (O2C)
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows, and test scenarios.
• Perform system configuration, testing, SIT, UAT, and support deployment/go-live activities.
• Support data migration activities using FBDI/ADFDI and other Oracle-supported tools.
• Troubleshoot functional issues and provide root-cause analysis and solutions.
• Work closely with technical teams on integrations, reports, interfaces, and extensions.
• Coordinate with business users, developers, project managers, and other functional teams.
• Support production issues, post-go-live activities, and Oracle Support SRs.
• Participate in period-close, reconciliation, reporting, and financial process activities.

• 4+ years of experience in Oracle Financials / Oracle Fusion Financials.
• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
• Good knowledge of GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, and SLA.
• Strong understanding of accounting and finance processes.
• Experience in Oracle Fusion implementation, configuration, and support.
• Experience with SIT/UAT, testing, defect resolution, and production support.
• Knowledge of FBDI/ADFDI and data migration.
• Good understanding of integrations and interfaces.
• Experience with OTBI / BI Publisher is preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle Fusion Financials certification is a plus.
• Experience with Oracle EBS R12 migration to Oracle Fusion Cloud is preferred.
• Experience with OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud) is an advantage for techno-functional profiles.
• Knowledge of multi-org, multi-ledger, intercompany, and global financial implementations is preferred.
• Experience working in global implementation/support projects is a plus.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

The ideal candidate will have strong Oracle Fusion Financials functional expertise, good accounting knowledge, hands-on implementation/support experience, and the ability to translate business requirements into Oracle Cloud solutions.
