Citrix Administrator / Citrix Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Citrix Administrator / Engineer with 8-10 years of hands-on experience designing, administering, and supporting Citrix virtualization and application delivery environments. The role focuses on ensuring high availability, performance, security, and scalability of Citrix platforms supporting business-critical applications and end users. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Citrix technologies, strong troubleshooting skills, and experience operating in large enterprise environments., Citrix Platform Administration

Administer and support Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenApp/XenDesktop) environments.

Manage Citrix components including Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, Director, and Citrix Workspace.

Configure and support Citrix NetScaler / ADC for load balancing, SSL, and access gateway services.

Perform Citrix upgrades, patching, and platform enhancements.

Operations & Performance Management

· Monitor Citrix environments to ensure system availability, performance, and user experience.

· Troubleshoot complex Citrix-related issues including session performance, application launch failures, and profile issues.

· Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement permanent fixes.

· Support high-severity incidents (P1/P2) and participate in on-call rotations.

Virtualization & Infrastructure Integration

· Integrate Citrix solutions with VMware, Windows Server, Active Directory, and storage platforms.

· Work closely with network, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure optimal end-to-end delivery.

· Support scalability planning, capacity management, and DR strategies.

Security & Access Management

· Implement secure remote access solutions using Citrix Gateway.

· Ensure adherence to security standards including authentication, authorization, and encryption.

· Support compliance, audit, and security requirements for virtual desktop and application delivery.

Documentation & Collaboration

· Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, run books, and architecture diagrams.

· Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior Citrix administrators.

· Collaborate with application and business teams to support new deployments and enhancements.

· 8-10 years of experience as a Citrix Administrator / Engineer in enterprise environments.

· Strong hands-on experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops and Citrix NetScaler / ADC.

· Solid knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware virtualization, and networking basics.

· Experience supporting production Citrix environments with high availability requirements.

· Familiarity with ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management processes.

· Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications

· Citrix Certified Professional (CCP) / Citrix Certified Expert (CCE)

· VMware VCP

· Microsoft Windows Server certifications
