ServiceNow Technical Architect

Info Gain Consulting LLC is seeking a Technical Architect to provide expert technical guidance and architectural oversight for an enterprise ServiceNow platform.

The Technical Architect will proactively recommend architectural improvements and design patterns, support the approved architectural vision, and ensure that development and configuration activities across all teams comply with approved technical standards., * Provide expert technical guidance across platform teams and workstreams.

• Recommend architectural improvements and design patterns.
• Provide architectural oversight across all teams.
• Ensure development and configuration activities adhere to approved technical standards.
• Analyze the current application and platform inventory.
• Provide detailed architectural guidance and recommendations to improve:
• Business processes
• Technical design
• Integrations
• Overall platform efficiency
• Maintain ServiceNow and enterprise-architecture documentation, including:
• Architecture diagrams
• Data models
• Process flows
• Versioning
• Ensure architecture documentation complies with TOGAF or a similar architectural framework.
• Coordinate with architects, project managers, developers, administrators, and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure technical solutions align with the approved system model, platform guardrails, and governance standards.
• Design, document, and monitor application layering and dependencies, including:
• User interface
• Deployment
• Public interfaces
• Application domain
• Application infrastructure
• Technical frameworks
• Platform services
• Architect platform solutions involving:
• Module configuration
• Integrations
• Data models
• CMDB structure
• Workflow design
• Platform guardrails.

• Experience analyzing current application and platform inventories.
• Experience providing detailed architectural guidance and recommendations related to business processes, technical design, integrations, and platform efficiency.
• Experience maintaining ServiceNow and enterprise-architecture documentation.
• Experience creating and maintaining architecture diagrams, data models, process flows, and version-controlled documentation.
• Experience working with TOGAF or a similar architectural framework.
• Experience coordinating with architects, project managers, developers, administrators, and cross-functional teams.
• Experience aligning technical solutions with approved system models, platform guardrails, and governance standards.
• Experience designing, documenting, and monitoring application layers and technical dependencies.
• Experience architecting platform solutions involving module configuration, integrations, data models, CMDB structures, workflows, or platform guardrails.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in a related field is desired.

A minimum of five years of equivalent experience in information-technology environments may be accepted in place of the desired degree.

Required certification

Candidates must possess current ServiceNow certification permitting administrative and design-level access. Qualifying certifications may include:

• Certified System Administrator
• Certified Implementation Specialist
• Certified Application Developer.

Preferred certification

The following advanced ServiceNow certifications are highly desired but not required:

• Certified Technical Architect
• Certified Master Architect.

Security clearance

Candidates must possess (or ability to possess) a Secret security clearance., * Relevant ServiceNow architecture experience.

• Experience with application and platform inventory analysis.
• Experience creating and maintaining enterprise-architecture documentation.
• Experience with integrations, data models, CMDB structures, workflows, or platform guardrails.
• Current ServiceNow certifications.
• Current security-clearance level and status., * Are you a US Citizen?
