DevOps Engineer

We’re looking for a talented engineer to join a highly skilled delivery team responsible for building and maintaining secure, cloud-native infrastructure supporting critical national services. This is an excellent opportunity to work with modern DevOps practices, container platforms and identity technologies in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. What you’ll be doing

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing, automating and supporting cloud infrastructure while helping to drive continuous improvement across the development life cycle. You’ll work closely with engineers, architects and security teams to deliver resilient, scalable platforms that enable the rapid delivery of secure applications.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Building and supporting cloud-native infrastructure
• Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Managing Kubernetes clusters and containerised workloads
• Automating deployments and operational processes
• Supporting identity and access management solutions
• Monitoring, troubleshooting and optimising platform performance
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary Agile teams
• Contributing to platform reliability, security and continuous improvement

Are you an experienced DevOps Engineer looking to work on a large-scale cloud transformation programme within the public sector?, You’ll have experience with many of the following technologies:

• Kubernetes
• Docker
• GitHub Actions
• CI/CD pipelines
• Keycloak
• Microsoft Entra
• MongoDB
• PostgreSQL
• S3 storage
• Karpenter
• Cloud platform engineering (ACP/Core Cloud experience desirable)

Experience with data migration projects would be advantageous but isn’t essential.
