Job description

Are you a creative Web Designer who enjoys seeing your ideas come to life?

We’re looking for someone who combines a strong eye for design with the ability to build and maintain modern, high-performing websites. If you enjoy taking a project from concept through to launch, rather than handing your designs over to someone else, we’d love to hear from you.

This is an opportunity to join a growing digital marketing business where you’ll have real ownership of client websites, working alongside marketing, campaign and account management teams to create engaging online experiences that deliver results. The Role

You’ll be responsible for designing, building and maintaining websites for a portfolio of clients, ensuring every site looks fantastic, performs well and delivers an excellent user experience.

Your day could include:

  • Designing modern, conversion-focused websites and landing pages.
  • Building websites using Framer (or similar modern website builders).
  • Updating and maintaining existing websites.
  • Uploading content and creating new pages.
  • Troubleshooting website issues and implementing fixes.
  • Carrying out quality assurance before sites go live.
  • Working closely with internal teams to deliver client projects.
  • Helping ensure websites remain fast, responsive and secure.

Requirements

We’re looking for someone who enjoys both the creative and technical aspects of web design.

Ideally you’ll have:

  • 2+ years’ experience in Web Design or UI Design.
  • Experience designing and building websites.
  • Strong UX/UI design skills with an excellent eye for layout and typography.
  • Experience with Framer, Webflow, WordPress or similar platforms.
  • HTML and CSS knowledge, with some JavaScript being advantageous.
  • Experience maintaining live websites and troubleshooting issues.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates modern, high-quality web design.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager.
  • Knowledge of hosting, DNS or SSL.
  • Experience with email platforms or marketing websites., Whether you’re currently building websites in Framer or have strong experience with platforms such as WordPress or Webflow and are keen to learn, we’d love to hear from you.

Benefits & conditions

  • £30,000-£35,000 depending on experience.
  • Hybrid working (2 days per week in the Manchester office).
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Ongoing training and development.
  • Genuine long-term career progression.
  • A collaborative team where you’ll have ownership of your work from day one.
