Web Designer

We are seeking a talented and innovative Web Designer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating visually appealing, user-friendly websites and digital interfaces that enhance user experience and meet client specifications. A strong understanding of both aesthetic design principles and technical implementation is essential to excel in this position., * Design and develop responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap and React.

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups employing tools like Adobe XD, Figma, Axure, Balsamiq, and InVision to visualise concepts effectively.
• Implement interaction design principles to optimise user engagement and usability across various devices.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and improve overall user experience (UX).
• Maintain and update existing websites through content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal, SharePoint, or custom solutions with PHP and MySQL integration.
• Optimise websites for search engines (SEO) by applying best practices in web structure, content optimisation, and performance enhancements.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate front-end code with back-end systems using AJAX, Node.js, Redux, and other relevant technologies.
• Ensure websites adhere to accessibility standards and information architecture best practices.
• Perform website maintenance tasks including troubleshooting issues, updating content, and implementing new features as required.
• Utilise Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign, Acrobat, and Flash for graphic design and multimedia content creation.
• Analyse website data using Google Analytics or similar tools to inform design improvements and optimise user engagement strategies.

Do you have experience in Web design?, * Proven experience in digital design with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in web design projects.

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (including SCSS/SASS), JavaScript (including frameworks like Angular, React), PHP, SQL/MySQL databases.
• Skilled in using Adobe Creative Suite (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) along with wireframing tools such as Balsamiq or Figma.
• Familiarity with content management systems including WordPress and Drupal.
• Knowledge of responsive web design principles ensuring compatibility across various devices.
• Experience with UX/UI principles, usability testing, information architecture optimisation, and user research methodologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects independently.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills to meet deadlines efficiently.
• Knowledge of analytics tools like Google Analytics for data-driven decision making is desirable.
