Job description

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile teams in delivering high-quality technology solutions while fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability. This role is ideal for a servant leader who excels at coaching newly formed teams, many of which have limited Agile experience, and helping them adopt Agile principles and best practices., * Serve as the Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, fostering collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.

  • Coach team members, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and servant leadership.
  • Lead all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
  • Help establish new Agile teams by coaching individuals with varying levels of Agile knowledge and experience.
  • Remove organizational and team impediments that impact delivery, escalating issues when appropriate.
  • Partner with Product Owners to maintain a healthy, prioritized product backlog and support effective backlog refinement.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and process improvement.
  • Enable self-organizing, high-performing teams through coaching and facilitation.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across business and technology teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
  • Monitor team health, sprint progress, delivery metrics, and capacity using dashboards and Agile reporting tools.
  • Manage team Scrum boards and maintain accurate sprint, release, and delivery information within Azure DevOps or Jira.
  • Track and communicate risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Support release planning and ensure release management activities align with enterprise standards and governance.
  • Provide sprint-level reporting and delivery metrics to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Encourage transparency through effective use of Agile metrics, information radiators, and team dashboards.

Requirements

The Scrum Master will partner closely with Product Owners, delivery teams, and stakeholders to facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, improve team performance, and ensure the successful delivery of business value. The ideal candidate is an experienced Agile practitioner with strong facilitation, coaching, and communication skills who can effectively guide teams through Agile transformation., * Minimum of 5 years of Agile/Scrum experience serving as a Scrum Master.

  • Experience standing up new Agile teams, including teams with limited Agile maturity.
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) certification required.
  • Experience with Agile delivery and work management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps (ADO), with Azure DevOps preferred.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM) or Professional Scrum Master II (PSM II) certification.
  • Experience supporting enterprise Agile transformations.
  • Experience writing user stories, personas, and acceptance criteria using Gherkin.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience gathering and analyzing business requirements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications., * Facilitation and conflict resolution
