Job description

We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Architect / Technical Lead to lead a critical cloud migration and disaster recovery initiative. This individual will architect, implement, and oversee Azure infrastructure, CI/CD modernization, Kubernetes deployments, and cross-cloud data replication from Google Cloud Platform to Azure., Architect and deploy Azure Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. Design and implement Azure networking, egress controls, and cloud security best practices. Build and configure Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters and Azure Container Registry (ACR). Deploy and manage Azure services including Key Vault and cloud-based data stores. Design and implement data replication solutions from Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) to Azure utilizing technologies such as: Change Data Capture (CDC) Logical Replication Change Streams Design and implement DNS-independent traffic routing and failover mechanisms into Azure. Provision Azure ingress resources to support high availability and disaster recovery. Deploy and configure Apigee Hybrid within the Azure environment. Enhance and modify CI/CD pipelines to support Azure application deployments. Develop a Proof of Concept (POC) application demonstrating: Deployment to development and staging environments Data store abstraction Pub/Sub abstraction layers Disaster recovery capabilities Produce comprehensive technical documentation and perform formal knowledge transfer of all Infrastructure as Code assets. Serve as the technical lead, providing architectural guidance and best practices throughout the engagement.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes (AKS), networking, DevOps automation, and cloud architecture, with the ability to lead technical design and implementation throughout the project lifecycle., 8+ years of cloud infrastructure and DevOps experience. Strong Azure architecture and engineering experience. Expert-level experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code. Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Experience with Azure networking, security, ingress, and egress controls. Experience deploying and managing Azure Container Registry (ACR). Strong knowledge of Azure Key Vault. Experience designing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or comparable platforms. Experience migrating workloads between Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and Azure. Experience implementing cloud disaster recovery and high availability solutions. Strong understanding of networking, DNS, routing, and cloud architecture. Excellent documentation and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience with Apigee Hybrid. Experience implementing cross-cloud replication strategies.
