Job description

The Oracle HCM Reporting Developer will design, develop, and maintain reports and analytics within the Oracle HCM Cloud environment using the native tools such as OTBI, BIP, HCM Extracts for Core HR, Benefits, and/or Compensation modules., * Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics using Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and BI Publisher (BIP).

  • Collaborate with HR business partners and stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, understand business challenges, and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Create and modify BI Publisher data models and build report layouts using RTF or Excel templates.
  • Build and customize OTBI analyses and dashboards to provide real-time visibility into key HR metrics
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to support complex data extraction and reporting needs within the Oracle HCM Cloud environment.
  • Provide ongoing support for existing reports, including troubleshooting data inaccuracies and making enhancements as needed.
  • Assist in testing and validating new reports and system upgrades to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience developing reports in an Oracle HCM Cloud environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) for creating analyses and dashboards.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and experience writing queries against Oracle databases.
  • Familiarity with at least one core Oracle HCM module (e.g., Core HR, Benefits, Compensation)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively gather requirements from non-technical users.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with BI Publisher, including creating data models and RTF/Excel templates.
  • Knowledge of the underlying Oracle HCM data tables and structures.
  • Experience with HCM Extracts for data integrations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Fast Formulas and Integration knowledge
