Job description

Insight Global’s client is looking for an offshore Java Developer to support their retail organization. There is an influx of work on this team and some change with re-orgs that they need more support on their current initiatives. This person will be focusing on security vulnerabilities in the tools, reporting and how to fix those as well as the defects on the existing microservices. They have a daily stand up at 9:30 cst every day.

Requirements

5+ years of experience of Java Development Experience, some Microservices are on 17 and 21 (legacy OMS is on Java 8)

-Github actions

-Database - DB2 is what they use (DBMS would work as well)

-Springboot and familiar with CICD pipelines

-Kafka integrations experience

-Google Microservices (GCP) -IBM Sterling
