Systems Administrator

Our client is an MSP/MSSP that recently launched an AI consulting practice. We are looking for a hands-on technologist who will primarily support day-to-day managed services operations while also working closely with the Chief AI Director to support AI initiatives as the practice continues to evolve.

This role is well suited for a systems administrator or senior support professional who enjoys operational work, is comfortable supporting multiple clients, and actively uses AI tools to analyze, document, and improve technical workflows., Operations & Client Support

• Provide Tier 2-3 support for managed services clients, including remote support and project-based work
• Own helpdesk tickets from escalation through resolution
• Support onboarding, migrations, and infrastructure projects for new and existing clients
• Administer and support environments that may include:
• Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure
• Endpoint management, identity, and security tooling common in MSP/MSSP environments
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation and operational processes

AI & Data Support

• Work under the guidance of the Chief AI Director to support AI consulting initiatives
• Assist with:
• Data collection, preparation, and organization for AI use cases
• Development and maintenance of documentation, prompts, and internal workflows
• Testing and validation of AI tools and solutions
• Apply AI tools to improve operational efficiency, documentation quality, and analysis
• Help translate business and technical requirements into structured inputs for AI solutions

• Experience as a systems administrator, senior helpdesk engineer, or IT generalist
• Strong understanding of IT operations within an MSP or multi-client environment
• Comfortable balancing ticket-based support with longer-term project work
• Hands-on experience using AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or automation tools) in daily work
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Clear written communication skills with attention to documentation
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with senior leadership

Nice to Have

• Experience in an MSSP or security-focused environment
• Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python, etc.)
• Exposure to data analysis, reporting, or workflow automation
• Interest in growing into an AI-focused or analytics-driven role over time
