Job Description Summary GE Vernova is accelerating the path to more reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy, while helping our customers power economies and deliver the electricity that is vital to health, safety, security, and improved quality of life.Are you excited at the opportunity to electrify and decarbonize the world?What impact you’ll makeAs a Service Technical Support Engineer in the Service Engineering Team, you will actively contribute to key business priorities and departmental objectives.The role involves providing technical leadership and expertise during the service phase of Offshore Wind Turbine projects, acting as the first point of contact for service operations leadership and teams to ensure efficient interventions, and serving as the main focal point for continuous improvement in the technical preparation of service activities.What you’ll doProvide first-level remote, as periodically onsite, technical troubleshooting for turbine issues to services teams within scope and expand or redirect to the appropriate technical specialists when required ensuring commissioning timelines related to turbine controller.Create and manage technical cases, work orders, and Non-Conformities (NCs) for instructions updates, tools updates, troubleshooting guides updates or customer technical querys in line with project and quality processes.Support on Work Orders (WO) readiness defining priority and assist back office purchasing team with tooling and spares lists to smooth daily planning and execution.Coordinate daily planning calls with offshore vessels to support execution planning and optimize activities for the following day.Collaborate with design and technical support teams to develop worldclass troubleshooting guides to reinforce service technical independence and boost daily efficiency.Lead technical and operational improvements affecting main controller, HMI or SCADA functions for technician operations as well as site specific operations as Grid outages.Drive process improvements focusing on digitalization, data analytics, and EHS compliance.Analyze data for continuous improvement in operational safety and quality.Special focus on warnings analysis and control improvements on the overall warnings strategies.Accountable to support Service Leadership team on Customer meetings and service improvement projects.What You’ll Bring (Basic Qualifications)Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering, with experience in Offshore Wind Farms.Proven track record in wind turbine operation and troubleshooting.Strong understanding of wind turbine systems, including electrical, mechanical, controls, and network/communication systems.Experience applying continuous improvement and quality tools in service operations.Fluent in English.What Will Make You Stand OutExperience in offshore wind, valued for handling logistical complexities and offshore operational challenges.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.Flexible, motivated, and able to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities.Excellent communication, goal-oriented mindset, and team-player attitude.Fluent in Spanish.Benefits Available To YouOur culture GE Vernova (gecareers.com)Our compensation & benefits are designed to reward high performers and help you manage your personal and family needs.We offer a robust benefits package depending on your employment status and your national requirements.A healthy, balanced lifestyle can mean different things to different people.We’ve created programs that support the way you live and work today.GE Vernova invests to provide opportunities to grow your career by providing a path for continued on-the-job learning and development.InclusionAt GE Vernova, we believe in the value of your unique identity, background and experiences.We are committed to fostering aninclusive culture , where everyone feels empowered to do their best work because they feel accepted, respected and that they belong.Learn more: Additional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: No#J-*****-Ljbffr

Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering, with experience in Offshore Wind Farms. Proven track record in wind turbine operation and troubleshooting. Strong understanding of wind turbine systems, including electrical, mechanical, controls, and network/communication systems. Experience applying continuous improvement and quality tools in service operations. Fluent in English. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Flexible, motivated, and able to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
