IT Manager

• We will rely on you to manage the schools network infrastructure and ICT-based applications.
• You will monitor and maintain key systems, including switches, virtual and physical server environments, Microsoft 365, and backups.
• You will provide technical advice, training, and support to staff so they can use systems effectively.
• You will manage day-to-day IT operations and ensure all requests are handled efficiently.
• You will line manage ICT support staff and take responsibility for their work.
• You will provide 2nd and 3rd line support.
• You will send weekly service update emails to key Trust contacts and prepare and present a monthly service review report, including SLA failures.
• You will enforce and monitor compliance in line with school policies.
• You will train internal staff.

• Security, We are recruiting for an IT Manager based in Sydenham, London, on a full-time, full-year basis. This role is focused on supporting a school environment, working closely with the Senior Management team to develop IT infrastructure, plan projects, and ensure the schools ICT network is secure, stable, and optimised for effective teaching and learning. We offer a salary of £33,000 to £41,000, negotiable for the right person, plus benefits including a salary sacrifice pension scheme, cycle and e-bike scheme, eye care voucher scheme, employee assistance programme, employee recognition platform, online retail discounts, and wellbeing support.

• We are looking for someone with at least 2-3 years of experience as an IT Manager, Network Manager, or Senior ICT Consultant within a school setting.
• We need a strong understanding of the requirements and responsibilities of working within a school environment.
• We require experience in upgrading a school IT network system.
• We value self-motivation, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and exceptional customer service skills.
• We are looking for someone who can work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to improving services.
