Job description

Engineer DevOps solutions, manage Linux systems administration, and deploy cloud infrastructure using AWS and Kubernetes.
Automate processes with Terraform and Ansible, and develop in Python, Bash, and Go.
Utilize Git for version control and apply Agile methodologies.
Work with big data technologies including Hadoop, Apache Spark, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Apache Hive, Trinio, and PrestoDB, with a focus on continuous integration and software configuration management., * Support development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS.
Support development and deployment of non-cloud (Edge) infrastructure of on-premise and portable equipment.
Automate deployment processes and ensure reliability and scalability of services.
Manage and maintain Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure on AWS.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate their applications into the infrastructure.
Monitor and troubleshoot production systems and resolve issues as necessary.
Continuously improve processes and tools to ensure high availability and performance.
Stay current with new technologies and industry trends, continuously exploring new ways to improve our infrastructure.
Apply strong knowledge of Linux, including system administration and troubleshooting.
Utilize configuration management tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
Leverage AWS services (EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda) for infrastructure deployment and management.
Develop in programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
Work with Git, Flux, and other development tools.
Apply AGILE software development methodologies.
Experience with big data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Hive, Drill, Impala, Trino, Presto.
Experience with containers (EKS, Diode), CI/CD, and Terraform.
Current TS/SCI with CI Polygraph level U.S. Government security clearance is required; U.S. Citizenship required.
DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certifications (i.e. Security+) or ability to obtain.
