Job description

Implement infrastructure, automate deployment processes, and ensure reliability and scalability of services.
Manage and maintain Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure on AWS.
Collaborate with development teams and troubleshoot production systems.
Requires expertise in Linux system administration, configuration management with Terraform and Ansible, and programming in Python, Bash, or Go.
Utilize Git and Agile methodologies.
Experience with big data technologies including Hadoop, Apache Spark, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Apache Hive, Trinio, and PrestoDB, along with Continuous Integration/Delivery and Docker containers., * Support development and deployment of cloud and non-cloud (Edge) infrastructure.
Automate deployment processes and ensure reliability and scalability of services.
Manage and maintain Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure on AWS.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into the infrastructure.
Monitor and troubleshoot production systems and resolve issues as necessary.
Continuously improve processes and tools to ensure high availability and performance.
Stay current with new technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

Degree: Technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Years of experience: 9+ years
Total Compensation: $261k+ yearly, * Strong knowledge of Linux, including system administration and troubleshooting.
Proficient in configuration management tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
Knowledge of AWS services (EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda) for infrastructure deployment and management.
Experience with application and OS deployment, scaling, and management.
Ability to develop in multiple programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
Familiarity with Git, Flux, and other development tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues.
Understanding of AGILE software development methodologies.
Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Hive, Trino, Presto.
Experience with containers (EKS, Docker) and CI/CD.
