Job description

Experteer Overview As Senior Reliability Engineer in the Reliability & Durability Team, you drive the identification and mitigation of hidden failure risks through FMECA and accelerated life-testing programs. You partner with design, materials science, labs, and program management to surface risks early and quantify them for corrective action. You will shape reliability strategies, analyze data to build growth curves, and advocate design or material changes to reduce lifecycle costs. This role offers impactful work on mission-critical systems and exposure to world-class test facilities. Compensation / Benefits * Lead FMECA worksheets (MIL STD 1629A compliant) and maintain lifecycle updates * Identify failure modes, root causes, and effects on system performance * Define acceleration life test objectives and select models (Arrhenius, Coffin-Mason) * Draft and execute accelerated aging and environmental test programs with labs * Analyze test data, generate reliability growth curves, report to stakeholders * Recommend design/material changes to improve reliability and reduce lifecycle cost * Mentor junior reliability engineers and contribute to continuous improvement Tasks * 3-5 years of hands-on reliability engineering experience * Proficiency with MIL STD 1629A and IEC 60812 * Strong root cause analysis, data interpretation, and large data set handling * Ability to develop/test plans using ASTM, IEC, or MIL methods * Excellent communication skills and documentation control * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering * Security clearance: Final Secret; US citizenship required Key requirements * flexible work schedules * comprehensive benefits package * part-time remote telework * opportunity for relocation * security clearance support * equal opportunity employer
