Job description
We are therefore looking to recruit a Support Officer - Finance and Data who is professional, enthusiastic and has a customer orientated approach to work within the central team and to be responsible for:
The day-to-day processing and monitoring of financial requirements to meet SMBC and external contractual obligation, to include procurement systems (Oracle) alongside SAFL’s internal financial processes. monitoring of financial information including ledgers.
To manage the raising of invoices for the collection of fees and charges made to employers or stakeholders.
To support the accurate recording and interrogation of data on the Management Information System (MIS), to ensure the validity of data and action corrections of any inaccuracies or discrepancies, including course creation and learner enrolments., If you have a proven track record of maintaining finance and data systems and are passionate about the positive economic and social role that Adult Community Learning at its best can play, then this could be the opportunity for you.

Requirements
2 years’ experience of organising and monitoring within a finance role
2 years’ experience of organising admin procedures and utilising data.
GCSE English Grade A-C/ 4-9 or equivalent (e.g. National Qualifications Adult Literacy Level 2)
GCSE Maths Grade A-C/ 4-9 or equivalent (e.g. National Qualifications Adult Numeracy Level 2)
