Job description
A well-established law firm is looking for an experienced Development Manager to lead its software development function and help drive the delivery of high-quality business-critical applications.
This is a hands-on leadership role, combining people management with technical oversight. You’ll work closely with IT and business stakeholders to improve development processes, support software delivery and guide technical decisions., * Lead and mentor the development function.
- Improve SDLC, Agile and DevOps practices.
- Drive engineering standards and software quality.
- Support architecture, release management and technical delivery.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to deliver technology solutions.
- Identify opportunities to modernise applications and improve performance.
Requirements
You’ll have experience leading software development teams within a commercial environment, with strong knowledge of:
- Microsoft .NET, C# and ASP.NET
- SQL Server and Azure
- SDLC, Agile and DevOps
- Software architecture and engineering best practice
Experience within legal or professional services is beneficial but not essential.
