Inergroup is hiring immediately for Night Shift Production Technician - IT Support Technician jobs in Cartersville, GA. As a Production Technician - IT Support Technician, you play a pivotal role in monitoring real-time process performance, overseeing production performance during the shift, and proactively preventing abnormal production events. This role ensures all processes operate within target process parameters and performance standards to maximize production yield while maintaining safety and environmental compliance. Weekly pay starting at $24.00/hr and great benefits available!, * Monitor production performance on a shift-by-shift basis, identifying abnormal fluctuations and ensuring processes operate within target parameters.
- Follow standard procedures to remediate production abnormalities and execute countermeasures instructed by Process Engineers or Directors.
- Notify Process Engineers when production issues cannot be resolved at the technician level, keeping Team Directors and Process Engineers informed of status details.
- Collect, organize, and report process and production data according to established guidelines or at the request of Process Engineers.
- Verify that current processes and production comply with standards, and identify production and process standards for the latest product versions.
- Adjust process parameters as required or as instructed by Process Engineers, and support engineering in preparing data for regular analysis or issue resolution.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for process maintenance while ensuring safety regulations and environmental standards are maintained.
- Perform roles and responsibilities of other Process Technicians as needed to cover vacancies, and collaborate with team members to coordinate maintenance activities.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including operations personnel, supervisors, engineers, and management staff.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing process engineering (experience with mass production equipment or metrology devices preferred).
- General knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering, and basic ability to operate process equipment and metrology tools.
- Basic computer skills (SQL, MS Office) for data collection and reporting.
- Comfortable working with numbers, graphical representations, and performing minor calculations.
- In-depth knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations applicable to a manufacturing environment, with experience ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Capable of wearing full PPE, including dust suits, face masks, hair nets/caps, nitrile gloves, safety shoes, and safety glasses for up to 12 hours per shift; comfortable wearing respirators when required.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
- Preferred: Basic understanding of solar cell production processes, or experience in semiconductor, display manufacturing, or a related industry.
