Software Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will develop and deploy software for in-vehicle data logging, visualization, and radar perception workflows. You’ll support rapid prototyping with algorithm teams, maintain DevOps tooling, and manage data and toolchains across global projects. You’ll work closely with sensing experts to enable data-driven visualization and issue mining, while maintaining HIL/SIL environments and owning core software libraries. This position contributes to Aptiv’s safety-centric mobility mission and offers opportunities to impact radar-based perception at scale. Compensation / Benefits * Create, deploy, and maintain in-vehicle data logging and visualization software * Support algorithm deployment for rapid prototyping in-vehicle systems * Develop and manage DevOps tools for current and new projects * Organize and manage data from internal teams and external customers * Write scripts for offline data analysis, algorithm validation, and regression testing * Collaborate with sensing/perception experts to design data visualization and issue mining methods * Maintain Hardware-in-the-Loop and Software-in-the-Loop toolchains * Own software libraries and tools used by global teams * Support internal and external customers worldwide Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Computer engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering * 3+ years in: parallel processing and multi-threading * experience with large existing codebases (modifying, debugging) * proficient in Windows and Linux * C++ (C++11/14) * Developing DevOps tools Key requirements * healthcare from day 1 * life and accident insurance * paid time off * relocation assistance may be available * learning and development opportunities * tuition reimbursement
