Sr Software Engineer (C++, OOD/OOP, Linux)

Experteer Overview As a software engineer in the RAPID division, you will build cutting-edge C++ software for next-gen mask inspection systems and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to tackle high-impact challenges. You’ll help shape data analytics and machine control components that enable high-yield lithography. This is a hands-on role at the core of advanced semiconductor inspection tech, with opportunities to influence system performance and reliability. You’ll work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment where innovation drives tangible manufacturing improvements. Compensation / Benefits * Design and develop machine control software and data analytics for mask inspection systems * Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define and implement system requirements * Optimize and maintain codebases for performance, scalability, and reliability * Provide support during integration and test and handle customer escalations Tasks * BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field * Proven C++ programming experience with object-oriented design and design patterns * Strong data analysis and debugging skills in multi-process/multi-threaded apps * Linux proficiency * RPC/REST interface definitions experience is a plus * Familiarity with Qt or other modern UI frameworks (Vue/React/Angular/Gtk) is a plus * Experience with containerization (Docker, Singularity) and Kubernetes is a plus * Strong leadership, teamwork, and motivation for team success Key requirements * medical, dental, vision * 401(k) with company matching * employee stock purchase program (ESPP) * tuition reimbursement * development and career growth opportunities * wellness benefits
